Intent

The main intent is to create an experience of silence because the site is in general a quiet place. A place for exchanging information which at the same time also provides individual space though not completely secluded. A friendly, safe and fun filled space for students to encourage learning and also an inviting place for non reader groups. A versatile space which also encourages social and individual activities for the people after the school hours.

Programme

A library for school students where they could spend time reading books during their library lecture. Space for group study or individual study. Not just study oriented space but a space for people to seek information , knowledge or just the pleasure of reading. It will be open to the public after the school hours.

Also to make structure A deployable/Portable structure which can be dismantled and reconstructed on a different location as the school is itself getting reconstructed and will have a library in the span of 3 years
